Mark Stoops has a plan to stop the Georgia Dynasty

Kentucky’s head football coach, Mark Stoops, knows exactly what he needs to do to stop Kirby Smart and end the Georgia football dynasty in the SEC East forever.

Mark Stoops has done a sensational job of transforming Kentucky’s football program over the past decade, but his Wildcats have yet to beat Georgia’s Kirby Smart football team.

Kentucky was selected second in the SEC East behind defending champion Georgia at this week’s SEC Media Days in Atlanta. With the Wildcats poised to become a New Year’s Six team, Stoops knows exactly what he needs to do to slow down the Georgia dynasty.

While we’re not exactly sure about Stoops’ Starbucks habit, we do know what gets the Detroit Lions head coach’s engine going at Motown, okay. All stinging kneecap jokes aside, like the Lions, the Wildcats should be a resolute non-divisional winner in their upcoming seasons. Though Kentucky may not be able to beat Georgia, the Wildcats can win double-digit games again this year.

The Wildcats went 10-3 last season after beating Iowa in the Citrus Bowl. Despite losing to the eventual national champions by 17 points, they ended up losing the following two games to rivals Mississippi State and Tennessee. The only problem with that is that five conference wins won’t even come close to overtaking Georgia in the SEC East. If the Dawgs get past Oregon over Labor Day Weekend in Atlanta, they could once again navigate their regular-season roster to perfection. However, their mid-November road date in Kentucky is arguably their toughest conference game, as is September 17 at rival South Carolina.

More importantly, Smart remembers what Stoops attempted at the end of last season’s game…
