Banijay CEO Marco Bassetti will deliver a keynote address at the upcoming Mipcom TV market in Cannes.
As CEO of one of the world’s leading independent content production and distribution companies, Bassetti oversees a large-scale operation spanning 22 territories, over 120 production units and a catalog that includes “Survivor”, “Peaky Blinders”, “Big Brother” and ” MasterChef” as well as the upcoming titles “Rogue Heroes”, “Blow Up”, “Starstruck” and “Marie Antoinette”.
Bassetti will be on stage on the second day of the market from October 17th to 20th. His keynote will be part of the Confab’s Media Mastermind keynote series, featuring leading global executives and creatives from the television industry on stage at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes.
The session will provide Bassetti’s perspective on the global manufacturer/distributor’s strategy as well as broader industry trends.
“After a three-year absence, we are proud to be back in Cannes with over 200 of our global talent in tow,” Bassetti said in a statement.
“Mipcom is always a significant event for our business and I look forward to taking the time to share more about our current strategy and the trends we are seeing around the world. So much has changed for us since we were last here so it will be great to get back fully engaged with the market and officially launch our enlarged group.”
