Manchester City and Liverpool treated English Premier League fans to an incredible 2-2 draw at the Etihad on Sunday.

Two of the best clubs in the world are unquestionably Manchester City and Liverpool, with the two English Premier League giants on Sunday with title hopes at stake. In the end it was 2-2, MCFC remains one point ahead of the Reds.

At the top of the table are Manchester City in first place with 74 points, while Liverpool are just behind with 73 points. This is a two-team title race and with seven games to go it could really go either way here.

Kevin De Bruyne, Manchester City midfielder: De Bruyne was undoubtedly the player of the match for City. He opened the scoring with a deflected goal and should have had an assist by the end of the action but Riyad Mahrez choked on his left foot shot. De Bruyne gets 9 out of 10 points.

Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez: Fans are incredibly upset with Mahrez and it’s understandable. He could have won in stoppage time thanks to De Bruyne’s brilliant pass, but he missed his shot. Mahrez looked sharp at times but this missed win will haunt him. He gets 4 out of 10 points.

Liverpool winger Mo Salah: Salah hasn’t scored in this competition but his assist for Sadio Mane’s decisive second-half goal was unforgettable. Salah also made a lot of noise in the box, earning him an 8 out of 10.
