Man killed in three-vehicle crash on the Cunningham Highway at Amberley in Ipswich

A Queensland man has died in a three-vehicle crash in Ipswich, southwest of Brisbane.

The 25-year-old man was the rear passenger in a car that collided with a truck as the car turned onto the Cunningham Highway in Amberley at around 6.45pm on Sunday.

The car then crashed into a third vehicle before coming to a stop.

The 25-year-old from Ripley suffered serious injuries and died at the scene.

The driver of the car, a 33-year-old man from Highgate Hill, was flown to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition.

The passenger of the car was not physically injured.

The driver of the truck, a 25-year-old man from Pine Mountain, and the driver of the third vehicle were also uninjured.

Everyone supports the police in investigations.

The investigation is ongoing.
