Man killed in double shooting on Atlantic Street, DC police say

The man killed in Saturday’s double shooting in southeast Washington has been identified by police as a 33-year-old DC resident.

Amos Jones of the Southeast was fatally shot just before noon in the 100 block of Atlantic Street, SE, police said.

A woman was also shot. Police said she was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
