WA Police say a 40-year-old woman was found with stab wounds and taken to Royal Perth Hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
“She was unresponsive and appeared to have suffered a traumatic event,” Homicide Sgt. Michael Fogell said Sunday.
“It (happened) on an upper floor in one of the rooms and then wandered into the corridor outside of that room and yes there were witnesses.”
A 42-year-old man known to the victim was arrested at the time and police confirmed on Monday he has since been charged with the murder.
Witnesses told 7NEWS they saw a man walking around naked shortly before he was arrested.
He is due to appear in Perth Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
