What will happen when you poke fun at Slow Joe and the inflationary crisis raging under his presidency by sticking those hilarious and now seemingly ubiquitous “I did that” stickers on gas pumps? Apparently you’re being arrested.
News of this comes from Lancaster Online, which reports that a local put the funny stickers on petrol pumps and was then handcuffed and arrested while screaming and facing charges of a range of crimes. As this outlet put it:
Criminal charges have been filed against the man accused of putting anti-Joe Biden and gas price stickers on fuel pumps on Turkey Hill last week. Videos of the commotion and arrest were shared on social media.
Thomas Richard Glazewski, 54, of Manor Township, was charged on Monday with resisting arrest – a misdemeanor – along with disorderly conduct, harassment and criminal mischief – all summary offences.
Video of this confrontation was recorded and posted on Facebook, where it has since been viewed thousands of times.
In the video, he can be seen pointing at the stickers that say, “I did that,” while yelling, “i did this i did this That’s what I did.He also apparently sprayed the stickers with some type of clear substance that made them difficult to remove, and yelled at an employee when told not to put the stickers on.
Fox News adds he was taken to hospital by EMS after being arrested for “self-inflicted injuries”. It is unclear what the injuries were.
The “I did that” stickers Glazewski put on the pumps at the Turkey Hill gas station have surfaced across the country as gas prices have risen under Biden, a small but visible indication of ordinary people’s reaction to the skyrocketing prices at the pump in the face of global chaos and green initiatives.
The Biden administration has of course blamed the rising prices on Putin rather than on Biden’s policies.
Back in March for example Biden called “Our prices are increasing because of Putin’s action. There aren’t enough supplies. And the bottom line is, if we want lower gas prices, we need to have more oil stocks now.”
Similarly, Psaki has blamed the gas price crisis on Putin, calling it a “Putin price hike.”
However, many blame Biden and his policies rather than Putin, especially as gas prices rose before Putin invaded Ukraine, as reported by The Washington Times:
Despite pointing the finger at Mr Putin, gas prices had been rising steadily ahead of Russia’s February 24 invasion of Ukraine. In fact, last November – well before Mr Putin’s attack on Ukraine – Mr Biden asked the Federal Trade Commission to investigate higher gas prices.
According to AAA, US drivers pay an average of about $4.23 a gallon for regular gasoline. That’s below a record high of
$4.33 a gallon earlier this month, still above the previous record set almost 14 years ago.
