BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A 38-year-old man was injured in a shooting in southwest Baltimore early Tuesday, authorities said.
Officers were on patrol around 1:39 a.m. when they were called to a local hospital after the victim showed up with a gunshot wound, Baltimore Police said.

Police said the victim, identified only as a 38-year-old man, was being treated for an injury that is not considered life-threatening.

The victim told police he was near Wilkens and Monroe Streets when he heard gunfire and said he didn’t realize he was being shot until he was half a mile away.
