Make sure Dave Roberts’ World Series is a chill waiting to happen

Los Angeles Dodgers coach Dave Roberts made a bold hot move ahead of the 2022 MLB season: The Dodgers will win the World Series this year.

The Dodgers nearly ran it back in 2021, advancing to all NL championships only to lose to the eventual winner of the World Series, the Atlanta Braves.

Now that the Dodgers have something of an Atlanta in Freddie Freeman, the Los Angeles team is looking to recreate what the Braves had in 2021: a championship.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts believes all is possible, predicting on The Dan Patrick Show that the Dodgers are guaranteed to win the World Series in 2022.

“The Dodgers would win the World Series if…” Patrick questioned Roberts as he expected him to finish his sentence.

Roberts confidently replied: “We played a full season and there was a period after the season. “We will win the World Series in 2022,” he asserted.

Securing Dave Roberts’ Daring World Series Is Set To Be A Frozen October

While the Dodgers are entering the 2022 season as the regular season favorites with Total expected wins 97.5, securing a World Series win is easy. Before the 2020 title, the last time the Dodgers won the championship was in 1988. Out of 32 MLB teams, it wasn’t easy to pick a winner before the season even started.

In 2021, the Dodgers enter pre-season as favorites for pennants, followed by the New York Yankees, San Diego Padres and Houston Astros. The Braves’ prediction for an 87-75 record is oddly close to their real record, which is 88-73. Although their expected record is close, the Braves are still predicted to have a 49% chance of making it to the knockout stages and a 4% chance of winning the World Series championship.

Perhaps Roberts is letting the recent successes of the Dodgers come his way, as it has been a strong team over the past few years and has now entered the 2021 and 2022 seasons as the favorites. However, calling the World Series is a big gamble, no matter which team has the upper hand.

Examining Patrick’s question with more scrutiny, Roberts responded with a more realistic observation:[The Dodgers will win the World Series if] Our original staff is still healthy. ” Make sure Dave Roberts’ World Series is a chill waiting to happen
