Amazon Games has outlined its plan for the MMO Lost Ark with a new development roadmap.
By the end of the year, the team hopes to introduce three new raids – Mystic Abyss Vycas Legion and Achates Trial Guardian – as well as the Reaper Advanced class in November and the Summoner Advanced class in December.
“The next few months mark the path to the Brelshaza Legion Raid – one of the most challenging, unique, and beautifully dangerous raids in all of Lost Ark,” explains the team.
“As we approach the decisive battle against the Phantom Legion commander, new raids will be added in October for the heroes of Arkesia to improve their teamwork, skills and ability to overcome unique mechanics, and new progression events to Upgrade materials and progress provide opportunities. December will bring Brelshaza along with a variety of other content to end the year with a bang!”
Mystic Abyss and Achates Trial are coming October along with Vykas Legion’s Inferno difficulty, which is “all about proving you’re among the best of the best in Arkesia.”
Looking ahead, Amazon Games says it is “excited to see players defeat the myriad of threats that will come their way in the coming months while expanding their skills in challenging activities and expanding their rosters with new advanced classes and high-impact ones.” Earn rewards to help progress”.
The update emphasizes that these are just “some of the highlights” of what’s to come and “not a comprehensive list of all the changes coming to Arkesia over the next few months,” but it does at least offer a sneak peek into the team’s priorities for the coming months.
In the Eurogamer review of Lost Ark, we said: “Action-packed dungeons make the early stages of Lost Ark a real romp, but without a convincing hook beyond the combat, it gets a little boring.”
