If there’s one big leap forward that Elden Ring has taken over its predecessors, it’s the amount and variety of spells and sorceries throughout the game. They range from fire spells to sword spells to blood magic, more sword spells, the embodiment of death itself and more sword spells, but also summon bow and arrow with Loretta’s sorceries to really shake things up.
Dropped by the two Loretta bosses in Elden Ring, Loretta’s Greatbow and Mastery scale down primarily from Intellect and are not boosted by any specific staff, but can still benefit from Azur’s or Lustat’s Glintsone staff, reducing cast time or power of increase spells, depending on which one you choose.
First up we have Loretta’s Greatbow, which fires a magic arrow from a summoned bow that can be charged and requires 26 Intelligence to cast. Dropped by the royal knight Loretta after she is defeated at Caria Manor, Loretta’s Greatbow Sorcery is a great midgame, long range, and single projectile sorcery.
Second is Loretta’s Mastery, another bow spell, but this time it fires four arrows from a summoned bow that can also be charged. Loretta’s Championship is dropped by Loretta Knight of the Haligtree after defeating her north of Miquella’s Haligtree.
