Loop Hero developers advise Russian gamers to pirate their game

Four Quarters, the developer behind the highly acclaimed deck building roguelike loop heroencourages players to pirate his game if they can’t find legal means to buy it given the ongoing sanctions against Russia following its military invasion of Ukraine.
The sanctions imposed on Russia have made it very difficult for Russian gamers to buy games on online retailers like Steam. Concerned players turned to VK, a Russian social media site, with purchase questions loop hero and supports Russian indie game developers Four Quarters amid the sanctions replied in a post on Sunday by encouraging players to “raise the pirate flag” and stream the game instead. In the post, Four Quarters linked players with a torrent version of loop hero on RuTracker, Russia’s largest BitTorrent tracker website, and reminded gamers to use a VPN as well.
