Liverpool vs AC Milan lineup revealed as 4 young players travel and 2 return legs – Liverpool FC

Liverpool squad arrived in Milan before tonight Champions League clash, with four senior players not traveling, but four young players being among the participants.
Jurgen Klopp and his side will make it through to Group B with a flawless record, becoming the first English team to win all six of their group stage matches.
They came back up against AC Milan still hoping to reach the round of 16, with Porto and Atletico Madrid also having a chance to reach the next round.
In his pre-match press conference, Klopp admitted that he would “have to rotate” for a match that, aside from prize money, meant little to the team’s success.
In the end, perhaps it’s not surprising that Jordan Henderson, Thiago and Diogo Jota all were out of the Reds’ open training session on Monday, with it being suspected that the trio are recovering on day two from their win at the wolf.
None of those three made the flight to Milan, while it seems Virgil van Dijk was also left out of the traveling squad as Liverpool continued to control his fitness.
James Milner nor in Italy, he received a one-match suspension for his third place in the group stage against Porto.
To fill the void, Klopp told reporters on Monday he would have “more boys” in his squad, with Tyler Morton joining Conor Bradley, Elijah Dixon-Bonner and Harvey Davies for the trip.
Morton is lining up to start his second in Champions League, while goalkeeper Davies, right-back Bradley and midfielder Dixon-Bonner are likely to be on the bench.
Furthermore, both Naby Keita and Joe Gomez have been traveling, with Klopp suggesting in his press conference that while neither has started, he will use his five allotted substitutions to allow them valuable game time when they come back from injury.
A strong team is still expected to line up at San Siro, with Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Fabinho, Joel Matip, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andy Robertson and Alisson all make the flight.
But there is no guarantee that all those key players will start, and in fact, it is very likely that Robertson missed out. Kostas Tsimikas take up press conference duties alongside Klopp.
Meanwhile, it seems possible that either Salah or Mane will start from the bench, with Divock Origi and Takumi Minamino for another chance to impress.
