Liverpool fans fool cheap Manchester United owners

Liverpool FC fans trolled Manchester United ahead of Monday’s game over their cheap possessions – namely the Glazer family.

That Glaser familywho also own the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers have come under fire for the lackluster resources invested in England’s most famous football club – Manchester United.

Ahead of Monday’s game against Liverpool, United fans organized a protest by the Glazer family. This has all come to a head after the failed start of the European Super League this spring and now a lackluster start to the Premier League season.

Via Yahoo!a group of fans has led the rallies and has grown in popularity:

“A more vocal anti-Glaser group, The 1958, organized this latest protest to “show the world our deep dissatisfaction with this vile property, [a]A property that is systematically starving and killing the world’s greatest football institution [the] world.” And over the years, they’ve explained why they believe that.”

Liverpool supporters had fun at United’s expense. Facing the protest just outside the walls of Old Trafford, the opposing team’s fans decided to cheer on the Glazer family, even using masks to do so.

You have to hand it to the Liverpool fans – they’re not lacking in creativity.
