Netball Victoria Performance Competitions Manager Stacey O’Neill was thrilled to be working with KommunityTV for the second year running.

“We’re excited to continue our partnership with KommunityTV and bring VNL 2023 and beyond to new audiences,” she said.

“As the state’s premier netball competition and a crucial step in the Victorian journey, we know there is a keen interest across Victoria to see the talent that can be seen in VNL.

“This partnership will help us continue to grow the competition’s profile and viewership.”

News Sports Network Managing Director Michael Wilkins says the opportunity to work with Netball Victoria was exciting.

“CommunityTV has built a strong portfolio of netball coverage over the past 12 months and the Victorian Netball League has been at the forefront of that growth,” he said.

“Our coverage of the VNL last year was one of the first partnerships signed by KommunityTV for the full season and we are delighted to be back in touch with the Netball Victoria team.

“It is very fitting to be able to announce this renewed deal following International Women’s Day and the success of Insight Sport, News Corp Australia’s first women’s and gender-biased sports series.

“Our streaming partnership will not only feature the best open-age netballers in Victoria, but also the young athletes seeking an opportunity to join the elite ranks of Suncorp Super Netball.”
