Lisa Vanderpump wears heels for first time since horse accident

Lisa puts the pump back into Vanderpump!
The reality star and restaurateur, 61, stepped out in heels for the first time since her horseback riding accident Thursday night.
“This is actually my first time in heels,” she told Page Six exclusively at SUR, the West Hollywood restaurant and lounge where she films Vanderpump Rules.
“My doctor said, ‘I’m used to taking my patients to the field, playing basketball, baseball or football. But for you, it’s the heels! That’s the most important!'”
Though Vanderpump was proud to show off her evergreen pumps, she still had medical tape wrapped around her right ankle.
“I just started running again,” she shared, noting that she broke her leg “in four places.”
On Jan. 30, the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum was riding at The Paddock in Los Angeles when the horse got startled and bucked her.
She ended up with four fractures in her leg that required surgery and “a badly injured back.”
Vanderpump’s husband Ken Todd, who was at SUR Thursday along with one of the couple’s many dogs, Puffy, previously said he didn’t think his wife would ever ride again.
While that remains to be seen, there is one thing about Vanderpump did abjure: a return to “RHOBH”.
“I’m glad I left. I tried to leave three or four times,” she told us, calling the show a “nightmare.”
“I would never go back. That’s a hot mess I could do without,” she added.
Vanderpump famously left the series in 2019 after her castmates accused her of lying about leaking a negative story about Dorit Kemsley and a dog to the press. The never-ending saga known to fans as “PuppyGate” unfolded in Season 9.
Despite executive producer Chris Cullen’s claim that Vanderpump was actually the one who made the infamous call to RadarOnline, she told Page Six she believes showrunners “told the story that threw.” [her] under the bus.”
“I think it was the production that did it because, let me tell you, when they hired Vanderpump Dogs for filming, the location agreement was under the wrong name – it was under Vanderpump Pets,” she claimed. “And the story at RadarOnline was also under Vanderpump Pets. I feel like the producers gave the story. … I’m not happy that they tried to blame me.”
SUR manager Peter Madrigal, perhaps the most stable fixture on “Vanderpump Rules,” was also present at the hotspot Thursday night.
Though not usually the one to cause drama, Madrigal, 37, recently made headlines for taking his new singles co-star Raquel Leviss out on a date.
“It went really well,” he told us with a smile.
When asked if she was okay with the outing, Vanderpump replied, “I did! Peter is a great guy. Everyone needs a Peter in their life.”
