The collaboration also serves as part of the #ThatsDazs campaign, which provides $1.5 million to and supports marginalized creative communities and serves to nurture a new generation of diverse taste makers and creators, including Brooklyn-based artists Jade Purple Brownwho designed the packaging of the City Sweets collection.
“With everything they do in the community, it’s just a nice thing to be able to work with a brand that not only brings joy with candy and ice cream, but also makes a real difference,” Grace explained, “and simply making sure everyone feels celebrated, even through their branded packaging. For me that is a perfect alignment.”
And there was a cherry on top, with Grace admitting, “I’m just super excited to be eating ice cream forever too!”
