LeBron James’ injury bombshell shakes Lakers’ playoff hopes with potential end-of-season news

Lebron James’ injury speculation is so inconsistent that there are now fears the Los Angeles Lakers superstar might not even return to court.

Lebron suffered a tendon injury in his right foot on February 26, aggravated by his previous ankle pain. Eventually, this time she couldn’t jump the hurdle and, as we suspected, went out for a month.

However, given recent speculation, Lakers fans are worried he will be back this season.

Ahead of the Lakers’ game against the Dallas Mavericks, coach Darvin Ham announced the 38-year-old’s return, saying, “We expect him to come back sometime this season.”

Though King James appeared determined to return for the franchise at this pivotal moment, Bleacher Report’s Chris Haynes also expressed his concern.

“I don’t know how realistic it is that he comes back with a few games left in the regular season. That’s definitely the goal. LeBron James shoots for it; I just don’t know how realistic it is right now,” added Chris.

James has had one of the best performances of his career this season, averaging 29.5 points with 8.4 rebounds and 6.9 assists per game in 47 appearances. He had to pull the wounded Lakers team through his injury.

The Lakers are the 11th seed in the Western Conference with a record .486 and they have 10 games left. They must compete with the Timberwolves, Jazz and Pelicans for a postseason spot.
