Tom Aspinall talks Francis Ngannou vs Tyson Fury

Tom Aspinall doesn’t think the UFC champion could face his compatriot in a boxing match. Francis Ngannou and Tyson Fury have been in talks about hosting a superfight and up-and-coming heavyweight contender Britain believes it would be a mismatch.

Francis Ngannou is the most powerful heavyweight hitter in the world of MMA and hands down the scariest man alive. However, Tyson Fury, the heavyweight boxer, is also one of the tight heavyweight technicians. It’s not every day you see a boxer like Fury dominating his opponents with quick moments and technique. Tom Aspinall, also from the UK, can vouch for that.

Tom and Tyson have previously trained together in the boxing ring and the UFC heavyweight can guarantee that Tyson is many leagues ahead of MMA fighters when it comes to boxing. “I’ve fought many rounds with Tyson Fury and I know what it’s like to spare him and let me tell you it’s not that easy.” Aspinall said in an interview with TMZ Sports.

Francis is the division’s current heavyweight champion and there’s no doubt Aspinall rates his peers. Tom Aspinall himself would be keen to fight Ngannou in the octagon and get his hands on the heavyweight title in the future. “You can’t box with someone who’s boxed their whole life.” said the desire of Aspinall MMA fighters to step in the boxing ring against professionals.

“I’m not saying he can’t throw the punch and knock him out. Of course he can, but when it comes to skill Tyson Fury is miles ahead of anyone I’ve seen with my eyes so I don’t know. Apparently, When Francis fights, he always has to take his chances, but these are worlds apart different in ability” said Tom Aspinall in the TMZ interview.

Tyson retired from professional boxing after his win Dillian Whyte. After his fight, he brought Ngannou on stage and vowed to fight the UFC Heavyweight Champion in a superfight to find out who the baddest man alive is.
