“Last Dance” with Ferrari? » FirstSportz

Lewis Hamilton joined Mercedes in 2013 when every team wanted to sign him. This was mainly due to the project at Mercedes and also to the presence of Niki Lauda in the pits. The Austrian played a huge part in winning Lewis Hamilton as he considered other decisions and we can now say with certainty that this decision changed the course of history at Mercedes.
The Mercedes legend has amassed a total of 103 wins and 183 podiums, making him the most successful driver in F1 history in terms of number of wins. He is still linked with Michael Schumacher in 7 drivers’ world titles, having lost the world title to Max Verstappen in controversial situations at the end of last season in Abu Dhabi.
Speaking of Michael Schumacher inevitably addressing Ferrari, a story has developed surrounding Lewis Hamilton’s future with Ferrari. After last year’s heartbreaking defeat, there was speculation about a return for the former world champions. Luckily for fans around the world, he decided to return to the sport that gave him so much and vice versa.

Lewis Hamilton respectfully rejects the idea of a “last dance” with Ferrari

Now, after a difficult start to the season at Mercedes, there are rumors of a move to Ferrari. But the Mercedes legend watered down all the rumors when asked about a “last dance” with Ferrari.
Lewis Hamilton said: “See what’s written here? Loyalty. “Of course it would have been nice to drive for Ferrari during my career, but things happen for certain reasons. Mercedes is my family, I will always be a Mercedes driver.”
“I would like to add one thing: If I could sit over there with the fans, I would support Charles. I am a Ferrari fan.”
This backs up the theory put forward by Sebastian Vettel, who once said that no matter what team you’re from, you’re a Ferrari fan. Lewis Hamilton, as a Mercedes legend, admits that and that should be proof enough.
