The double threat quarterback has previously spoken out strongly about getting paid like a true star in the league. ESPN’s Jamison Hensley, Baltimore was only interested in a long-term extension, although Jackson wanted a fully guaranteed contract, prompting the franchise to opt for the non-exclusive tag.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler revealed the possibility of Jackson signing with the Titans on a recent episode of Sportscenter.

“And if you’re talking about good fits, I asked some executives in the league which teams would make sense. You mention Tennessee, which just cleared some cap space. They have a new GM Ran Carthon working on the roster. They could use a running quarterback [and] They have experience with this in the past,” said Fowler.

ESPN’s Stephen Holder ruled out the possibility of the Colts putting together a bid for Jackson.

“Indianapolis has not ruled out talks with Jackson, according to a team source. However, the club have not taken any significant steps regarding Jackson and it is unclear if they intend to do so. Team sources have expressed skepticism about Jackson’s pursuit,” he said.
