Lakers’ owner Twitter is hacked to scam some PS5 consoles

Jeanie Buss, the owner of the NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers, had her Twitter account hacked earlier today as part of a PlayStation 5 scam.
In the afternoon, her account sent out a tweet promising that she, the multi-millionaire and owner of one of the most marketable sports brands on the planet, owns three PlayStation 5 consoles that she would sell for charity. Which looked like they were sitting on their kitchen floor. About their DMs.
The entire tweet was, of course, a red flag — which charity? Where’s the capitalization? — and anyone who actually tweeted her account shortly after was instructed to send money to a random cell account, after which her “shipping label” would be “created” (it would never be created).
A clear and obvious scam, then, but Buss has 430,000 followers on Twitter, so who knows, maybe some of them actually fell for it. Banned from her account by the hack, Buss had to jump onto the team’s official communications to break the news and warn fans not to send money.

You can also purchase one of their RGB kits to either add a row of lights to the top cutouts around the headrest, or a $200 bottom LED kit to glow underneath like your chair is in Need for Speed: underground 2
Lakers fans, my twitter account has been hacked. Please don’t bother with it and don’t send any money. These are NOT legitimate offers. Lakers will notify you when I regain control of my account – Jeanie Buss
She eventually regained control of her account and deleted the scam tweet, but not before some people enjoyed it and used the scam as an opportunity to shake up the Laker’s aging, broken, top-heavy list. This is Buttcrack Sports with the best try Getting Russell Westbrook off the team is yet to see this offseason:
If you want a PlayStation 5 in a more conventional way, you should probably just try to buy one. especially since Sony will finally be able to launch some of these this holiday season.
