Lake Barrington man arrested in connection with damage to at least 80 cars at Schaumburg dealerships
SCHAUMBURG, Illinois — A Lake Barrington man was arrested in connection with the vandalism and damage to at least 80 vehicles at three different auto dealerships in Schaumburg, officials said.
Andrew McAuliff, 27, of the 300 block of Shoreline Road in Lake Barrington, has been charged with two counts of criminal damage to property.
McAuliff is said to have damaged vehicles with a metal object at three different dealerships in the 700-800 block of Golf Road on Wednesday. Bob Rohrman Honda, Bob Rohrman Ford and Patrick BMW vehicles were damaged.
McAuliff is expected at a court hearing on Saturday.
