Labeled mom’s back-to-school photo as ‘creepy’

A mother’s innocent back-to-school photo has caused a furore on Reddit after viewers caught a “creepy” detail.

The woman had shared the snap of her three children posing in front of a door as they prepare for a new term.

“First day of 1st, 4th and 6th grade! How?!” the caption read.

But when a screenshot of the snap – with the children’s identities protected – was shared with the Reddit group Lunatics, viewers immediately saw a “beyond the bizarre” issue.

Many thought the young girl’s body had been photoshopped.

“Who is this lady fooling? Nobody’s arms look like this. I laughed rightly at the crappy photoshop TBH,” one person wrote.

“Crazy waving girl with inflatable arms!” wrote another.

“Frankly disgusting. What is she hoping to win?” asked another person.

“I really have no idea. But she’s buying her daughter a one-way ticket to an eating disorder,” responded one commenter.

“Damn… This is creepy. Also, her left arm looks too wavy and I can’t ignore it,” added another.

A fellow user claimed people had “confronted the mother about it a number of times.”

“She refused Photoshop and deleted the comments,” the user claimed.

The thread has since been locked by the moderators of the Reddit group.
