Kyrie Irving will soon be able to watch Nets home games, but haven’t played yet

Kyrie Irving is getting closer to being able to support his teammates, but it looks like he won’t be able to play at home for the Brooklyn Nets.

Because Kyrie Irving is still unvaccinated against COVID-19, he was unable to compete in brooklyn network family games due to different policies that have the clear objective of limiting the spread and impact of COVID-19.

This is a hotly contested point for a number of reasons, but it looks like the Nets will soon get Irving at Barclays Center for Brooklyn’s home games.

The only thing is there is a little catch. Irving obviously won’t be able to enter the Nets game as a player. It looks like he may only appear as a spectator, according to a tweet from Shams Charania.

According to Charania, New York City will deregulate the COVID-19 vaccine in early March (as long as things continue to progress there). However, according to Charania, the “private sector mandate” would still keep Irving out of court.

Brooklyn Nets: Kyrie Irving Will Be Able To Watch Nets Home Games But He Still Can’t Play Them

While Irving will technically be able to be there to support his team, he’s still limited in what he can do for the Nets. At least for the time being.

Unfortunately for the Nets, they could really use some help as they try to improve for the duration of the season. Brooklyn was able to beat the Milwaukee Bucks on the road, which is when Irving played and scored 38 points. He is still unable to do it at home due to the policies in place and his COVID-19 vaccination status.

Brooklyn recently made a big deal for Ben Simmons to hopefully resolve some of the issues, but Simmons has yet to take it to court for the Nets. Kyrie Irving will soon be able to watch Nets home games, but haven’t played yet
