Kyle O’Reilly Tells Fans ‘Smell Ya After’ As Contract Expiration Announcement Continues

Kyle O’Reilly is potentially on his way out of WWE NXT. The veteran wrestler was defeated by Von Wagner in a steel cage on NXT 2.0 last night. With O’Reilly’s contract expired, fans expect this to be his last night with the brand.

On a night when his friend Johnny Gargano was also saying goodbye, Kyle shared the moment. Both hugged after the show was broadcast. Now, Kyle has sent his fans a message on Twitter about his possible departure.

“Really overwhelmed by all the loving and sincere messages. By no means does this mean goodbye… just smell the latter. “

Rumors have been swirling for months since it was reported that Gargano and O’Reilly’s contracts were about to expire. Many fans have asked Kyle to sign with AEW. One thing is for sure, though. They will see him soon.

Kyle’s ReDRagon Card Team Partner Bobby Fish signed with AEW after his time at NXT. The leader of the undisputed era Adam Cole was also present with the company. There has been no announcement regarding Kyle O’Reilly’s future in wrestling.

O’Reilly has experienced a lot of success during her time with NXT. With the company shifting the brand’s focus to developing younger, less experienced talent, it didn’t see the former Ring of Honor stars as relevant. There’s no doubt Kyle O’Reilly will land on his own, wherever he decides to go.
