Klay Thompson speaks after turning 18 in his first full practice session

Klay Thompson just put in his first script version with the G League’s Santa Cruz Warriors, and it’s not surprising that the All-Star shooting defense made an immediate impact. Thompson apparently made the first 18 hits in practice as he made it clear that rust wouldn’t be an issue for him moving forward.
The Warriors star himself spoke out after his impressive scripting session, and at this point he just wants to go:
“I hate using the phrase ‘can’t wait,’ because I love being in my life,” Thompson said. CBS Sports’ Jack Maloney. “But I can’t wait. I really, would love to be a Warrior. ”
Video of Thompson performing footage of his first all-team practice game after a two-year injury hiatus has gone viral. Right now, Warriors fans can’t wait to see their star in action again. Turns out, Thompson himself felt the same way.
Santa Cruz Warriors head coach Seth Cooper provided an update on Thompson after practice. According to Cooper, Klay currently has no restrictions:
“He was completely clean, so everything we did 100% he was going,” he said. speak. “Nothing holds him back. Nothing pulls back, it’s just letting him go and letting him experience playing to his fullest. He did it, and he looks really good doing it. ”
Thompson is expected to make his season debut for the Warriors sometime before Christmas. For now, it looks like things are on track for that much-anticipated target date.
