Kirby and the Forgotten Land tops the UK boxing charts for the second week in a row

Nintendo’s first full 3D Kirby mainline adventure continues to prove popular in the UK Kirby and the Forgotten Land has topped the boxing charts in the country for the second straight week and continues to hold off competition from the likes of Elden Ring and Tiny Tina’s Wonderland.

Despite a 43% weekly sales drop (thanks, GI.biz), Kirby and the Forgotten Land has managed to maintain its top spot in the UK for the second week in a row. It was already the best-performing Kirby game in the UK after its opening weekend and “is now by far the fastest-selling game in the franchise”. Even better news for Nintendo and HAL Laboratory: Kirby and the Forgotten Land is now the “4th best-selling Kirby game of all time in the UK”.

Elden Ring, meanwhile, has climbed from third to second place in the UK boxing charts. Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands has slipped from second to fourth place, while Pokémon Legends: Arceus climbs to third place. Everyone’s favorite FIFA 22 is in fifth place. However, with the highly anticipated release of Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga this week, Kirby may need some luck to stay at the top of the physical charts for three straight weeks. Regardless, Nintendo should be happy with how The Forgotten Land launched, given its continued success in the UK and the series’ biggest launch in Japan.
