Khloe Kardashian slams former employees’ ‘frivolous lawsuit’

Khloe Kardashian was accused being a “nightmare” boss and stuffing a former employee’s wages away. She is not silent on these allegations.

Determined to keep her reputation in check, the mother-of-two is fighting back in court against her former housekeeping assistant after he accused her of underpaying him a fair wage and making him work tirelessly.

In court documents obtained from Radar online, the reality star denies all claims and allegations in Matthew Manhard’s lawsuit. He claimed he was fired after taking a leave of absence due to a knee injury.

Manhard also claims he was not paid the correct wages after working for the Good American founder between January 2019 and November 2022. He also insists he was overworked more than 12 hours a day and more than 40 hours per job but was not paid overtime and was not given adequate compensation for proper meal breaks.

The former assistant said he took time off to deal with a dislocated and fractured kneecap that required surgery. He further claims that after being informed, Kardashian believed he was disabled.

In November 2022, he attempted to return to work but was told the reality star’s company had “no work” for him. He was finally released a few days later.

He claims that the busy entrepreneur caused him lost earnings and unemployment benefits. He also believes his reputation has been damaged and is now suffering from fears, anxiety and emotional distress.

A Kardashian representative said, “It is unfortunate to learn that a former employee has chosen this path. Matthew was properly graded and paid for his role.” They continued,

“Towards the end of his tenure, he was on furlough for an extended period and the position eventually had to be replaced. We will not condone false accusations and will prove this is a frivolous lawsuit.”

It’s hard to believe when the family seems to have had their employees work long hours for a long time. In March, big sister Kim Kardashian was accused of working like animals with her housekeepers.

Several of them joined forces to sue the billionaire. Luckily for them, the former housekeepers dropped out of a lawsuit over unpaid wages. They are working together to settle the claims against Kim, but no agreement has yet been reached.

Another piece of evidence that can be held up as evidence of overwork to the family is when Kim kicked her ass and told other people to “pull their ass up and work.” She complained that employees are now looking for the easy way out.

You don’t want to work so hard. If those 12-hour days and working to the bone are the definition of a regular work day for the family, they’ll have a hard time finding employees who want to stay.
