Khloe Kardashian shares new baby joy despite cheating ex Tristan Thompson’s ‘dark cloud’

Khloe Kardashian has given fans an intimate glimpse of the arrival of her baby son in the latest episode of The Kardashians.

Khloe, 38, had a boy with her ex-partner Tristan Thompson through a surrogate mother.

The latest episode showed footage of the baby’s birth on July 28 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Then Khloe was shown for the first time holding her baby and smiling proudly for the camera.

However, she admitted it felt like a “dark cloud” accompanied the joy after Thompson’s infidelity came to light.

Tristan wasn’t in the delivery room with Khloe and the surrogate — rather, it was Nurse Kim Kardashian who witnessed the special moment.

But he was later invited to the hospital to see his newborn son and footage shows him cradling the baby in his arms.

Khloe said the baby’s arrival helped “close that chapter and cope with that trauma.”

After Tristan and Khloe began surrogacy, it was revealed that he had fathered a child with another woman, a fitness model named Maralee Nichols, who gave birth to their son in December last year.

“I’m so grateful. It’s such a beautiful gift to have,” Khloe said.

“This dark cloud has been hanging over me since December.

“Every day I feel depressed and sad and now that my son is here I can go ahead and enjoy it.

“Now I can start enjoying my life with two kids in it and find out.

“It’s going to be day one, and it’s going to be the start of something positive, happy, and beautiful.”

Khloe said she was thinking about Tristan being there to meet her little boy.

“I was hesitating on whether or not to let Tristan come to the hospital, but Tristan wants to be here, so I figured why not let him come?” she said.

“I’ll never get that moment back.”
