Khan: Winning against Kell Brook could open a new chapter in my career

In a previous interview, Amir Khan explained that his upcoming fight with Kell Brook will likely be his last.

But, boxer Bolton is now returning to that claim – and he has opened the door for more fights in the future.

The two former world champions will collide in a fierce match on February 19 in Manchester.

The 35-year-old Khan has been out of the ring since July 2019, when he easily stopped Billy Dib.

Khan is currently training with veteran trainer Brian McIntyre in Colorado. McIntyre is best known as the head coach of Terence Crawford.

The outcome of the upcoming encounter will clearly determine Khan’s entire decision.

“Let’s see where it goes. Because look, I’m going to see how this training camp makes me a boxer. I mean, I can feel so good I might want to do one. I’ve never been pushed like this in my career at any training camp,” Khan said. Seconds out.

“Training this hard, I know I can do it. And if I was feeling a bit old enough to retire or feel beaten up, I wouldn’t have done it. I’ve run with younger guys. i, like in my early 20s, sprint and beat them more punches than boxers younger than me, so I don’t know, nothing tells me I should call it a day.

“I always say I never want boxing to take me away, I want to retire at the right time. I just don’t know. I’ll see how this training camp goes because I feel that, If we really Win the match against Kell Brook, then it could open a new chapter in my career.Let’s see.But like I said, I don’t want to be greedy because of you. there’s always a punch to not get hurt. I’ve got a family and I’ll wait and see what I do after the battle.”–163531 Khan: Winning against Kell Brook could open a new chapter in my career
