A New York City man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of his own cousin, who was found inside a plastic container last weekend.

On the afternoon of Friday, February 25, 2022, a local addict saw a human foot in a bin across the street from a storage facility. The man said the bin itself appeared to be out of place and unrelated to that facility in the Bronx’s Highbridge area, according to the NYPD.

Walcott was officially reported missing last Thursday by her family, who said they received a series of strange and unusual text messages in response to their repeated calls and texts. .

“The language being used is like, wait a minute, that’s not my sister,” the deceased woman’s brother Eugene Butler told the leading network CBS based in Manhattan, WCBS.

The lack of response over the phone speaks for itself, he said.

“No matter what she’s been through, she always picks up the phone,” Butler told local ABC station WABC.

The grieving brother ponders the brushstrokes of his sadness about who and what has been taken away from him and his family forever.

Butler told WCBS in an interview on Saturday: “I’m feeling very numb and empty right now. “Nisaa is a beautiful person. She is a caring, loving woman who truly loves her family.”

One of those allegedly “odd” text messages relayed the following to her surviving son: his mother was away on business; and she left Barrow in charge of everything. That purported status was completely unsuitable for those who knew Walcott.

“I remember when she gave birth to him, she told me it would be her only child and it would be hers, her only child,” Walcott’s sister-in-law Angie Johnson told WABC – explaining that a loving mother would never travel without her son.

“I can’t explain the screams that came from the bottom of my stomach and I collapsed,” Johnson added – explaining how she felt when she learned the worst. “We have children in the house, and they start to cry.”

Browder was arrested Saturday and questioned in the 23rd district of Harlem, according to the police source cited by New York Post. He was charged soon after.

Authorities said they consulted surveillance footage from Walcott’s apartment building that showed the defendant entering the building with the deceased woman – and then leaving on his own on February 18, 2022. Another video from that day allegedly shows Barrow pulling a large plastic container onto the roof of an apartment building.

Around midnight seven days later, additional surveillance footage is said to show Barrow unpacking a large plastic bin with the help of another man who has yet to be identified, at least publicly. to the present time.

In another clip, a man can be seen emptying a storage bin in the Bronx, according to law enforcement.

Police did not provide a motive for the killing. The exact cause of Walcott’s death has yet to be determined.

Barrow now has a preliminary hearing scheduled for the second week of March.

Butler added in comments to WCBS. “The person doing this must be someone without a soul because all she wants to do is help this person.”

Candles have begun to build up in front of Walcott’s apartment building in Harlem.

“The way she died doesn’t represent who she is,” the victim’s friend, Delia Soto, told NBC’s flagship WNBC station. “She is full of life, full of everything that makes people happy. She sees you sad, she smiles at you”.
