Keyshia Cole has her old smile back and fans are excited for new music

Keyshia ColeHis smile and new music recently became the talk of the town after fans noticed the singer’s iconic gap has returned.
Cole, who became a household name in the entertainment industry in the early 2000s and has released seven studio albums, had a stint early in her music career and filled it in 2008.

Though Cole didn’t give a reason for the procedure, in February 2021, the “Let It Go” singer toyed with the idea of โโreopening her gap by sharing a picture on her Instagram story while visiting the dentist’s office.
Cole wrote the caption: “I’m thinking about reopening my gap! Now I’m here!!!! Thoughts.” After that post, Cole stopped mentioning her gap.
Back on November 20, fans noticed that Cole’s smile was different after the mother-of-two shared various videos on her Instagram page throughout the week. Though Cole didn’t reveal any details about reopening their gap at the time, fans automatically assumed she was preparing for a new music project.
When Cole’s clips circulated online, a handful of fans began cheering, with many claiming that the singer made her best music during the “Gap” era.
“I always felt like the best vocals and songs came when Keyshia Cole had that gap! Something about a patchy keyshia that fits my musical spirit perfectly! #thegaphasreturned.โ
“Keyshia Cole Gap is back, hopefully the old KC feel will follow the music.”
โRESPECT, Keyshia Cole gave us the mf gap!!!!! LAW! Let me get my money together cause the girls are fighting to ruin the music industry in 2023.
“KEYSHIA COLE HAS HER CAP BACK!!!!! THIS ALBUM WILL ALREADY BE (fire emojis).โ
โKeyshia with the gap made LEGENDARY music!!!!! Can not Hardly Wait!”
On Nov. 23, Cole told The Shade Room in an exclusive interview that one of the reasons she’s reopened her gap is her upcoming Lifetime biopic, which is set to start filming next week.
The 41-year-old said: “I’m getting into the role… we start filming in Oakland on the 1st of next month [December].And I will play myself after I turn 25. I was already thinking about getting it before the film was made, but now that we’re filming I’ve decided to take the plunge.”
Cole also told the publication that she filled her gap because she wanted to “perfect” what she didn’t like about her smile. The “Heaven Sent” singer also revealed that the latest procedure costs $8,000 and that she plans to maintain her hiatus even after production is complete.
