Kevin Owens Reveals His WWE NXT Return In 2019

Kevin Owens has remained one of WWE’s mainstays since his debut at NXT in 2014. He also made a name for himself in the indie league before coming to WWE. Looks like he opened up about his NXT comeback a few years ago.
Over the past few months, the topic of Kevin Owens’ WWE contract has become a widely discussed topic. Kevin Owens’ WWE contract is still in effect earlier than originally planned because it will expire early next year.
Previously, Kevin Owens returned to NXT for the NXT version of TakeOver: WarGames 2019. Owens was one of the members of Team Ciampa in a surprise reveal. Fans cheered when Owens made his debut.
While talking to Rebel noise, Kevin Owens talked about his shocking NXT return in 2019 and how it was planned. Owens said it was unquestionable to go back there that night.
“Believe it or not, in 2019. I really don’t need much convincing. All I needed was a phone call from Triple H. Triple H has been great for me, my career, and my life. Anytime you need anything from me, I’m there. He asked me if I wanted to be a part of WarGames. I didn’t even know what the game was, and I said, ‘Absolutely right.’ I love NXT. I spent a very short time at NXT and I really enjoyed my time there so there’s no doubt that I’d have a chance to return, even if just for a night. ”
Kevin Owens will face Big E and Seth Rollins for the WWE Championship at WWE Day 1 on January 1, 2022. It remains to be seen whether Owens will win the match.
