Minnesota Wild forward Kevin Fiala scored a crazy goal Tuesday night against the Philadelphia Flyers.
The Minnesota Wild had a flourish going into Tuesday night, when they had a six-game winning streak. In fact, they had three straight wins 3-2 in extra time. They have the opportunity to continue to rise to the top in the Central Division with a victory over the Philadelphia Flyers.
When Wild led the Flyers 3-0 at the end of the second half, defender Dmitry Kulikov passed a pass to winger Kevin Fiala, who unleashed a treacherous cut past goalkeeper Martin Jones to score. Just look at the corner of Fiala’s goal.

It was Fiala’s 23rd goal of the year. The Wild went on to win 4-1 and in the process, they officially knocked the Flyers out of the playoffs.
Defender Matt Dumba and winger Kirill Kaprizov each scored late in the first half to give Minnesota a 2-0 lead. Less than two minutes into the second minute, winger Jordan Greenway poked a hole through Jones, allowing Minnesota to cushion the ball to score three goals. Then, Fiala’s aforementioned goal happened to give the team a 4-0 lead into the second half.
Minnesota will be looking to extend their winning streak to eight games with a win over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday, March 31.
