It was Fiala’s 23rd goal of the year. The Wild went on to win 4-1 and in the process, they officially knocked the Flyers out of the playoffs.

Defender Matt Dumba and winger Kirill Kaprizov each scored late in the first half to give Minnesota a 2-0 lead. Less than two minutes into the second minute, winger Jordan Greenway poked a hole through Jones, allowing Minnesota to cushion the ball to score three goals. Then, Fiala’s aforementioned goal happened to give the team a 4-0 lead into the second half.

Minnesota will be looking to extend their winning streak to eight games with a win over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday, March 31.
