Kenya Moore and Cynthia Bailey’s selfie together touched fans’ hearts after the two endured unexpected friendship drama

Various “Housewives” attended the wedding of “Real Housewives of New Jersey” actress Teresa Giudice, but a certain former bestie meeting surprised fans in the best way possible.

Kenya Moore and Cynthia Bailey took selfies together at the wedding of their fellow Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip co-star.

Fans of the two ladies couldn’t help but remember their friendship while celebrating the seemingly harmonious picture.

Tensions between Cynthia and Kenya first began to form during her time on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip in Turks and Caicos in 2021, after Cynthia expressed her feelings of being neglected by Kenya because the winner of the Miss USA did not stand up for Cynthia in certain situations.

As the trip came to an end, Cynthia decided to confront Kenya with her problem in hopes of improving the situation, but she felt like Kenya was “shutting her down”.

“As I walked out of her room, a part of my heart kind of closed up,” Cynthia explained in her confessional.

“She didn’t see every time I had her back,” Kenya explained in her.

Although attempts were made after filming was completed, Cynthia and Kenya both felt the friendship was never the same going forward.

In March 2022, Cynthia opened up about her relationship with Kenya on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, stating she will “always have love in my heart for Kenya”.

“You know relationships. … Friendships go up and down, and it’s really tough. … I’ve learned to cultivate healthy relationships when collaborating on a platform. I love Kenya, I will always love her, but we’re not where we used to be.”

Although their relationship is not where it used to be, in Kenya confessed during her last interview with Andy Cohen in May that she and Cynthia are in a “better place.”

“We’re talking, she invited me out to something the other day so we could be in a better place.”

Kenya and Cynthia have been friends for years. While their dynamic may have shifted, it’s evident that the two still have a strong love for each other.
