Kenny Vaccaro retires to focus on esports organization

It is not uncommon for professional athletes to try out in sports other than the one they were originally known for.

Former Saints of New Orleans and Safety of the Tennessee Titans Kenny Vaccaro took care of that practice, announcing his retirement from the NFL this week so he can focus on reinventing himself in the world of esports.

“Technically, I’m still a freelancer,” says Vaccaro ESPN. “But this is where my mind has been for the past six months. I’m happy with where I am, doing what I’m doing. I really feel this is something deep inside that I want to do. .”

ESPN adds that 30-year-old Vaccaro, who last played in 2020, received offers to play for multiple teams before deciding to turn his full attention to his e-sports organization.
