Kelechi Iheanacho believes Leicester know how to ‘hurt’ Liverpool

Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho insists he and his team-mates understand Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool style of play and believe they know how to ‘hurt’ the Red Devils as they prepare to face them on Tuesday night.

The two sides met recently in the EFL Cup with Klopp’s side leading 2-0 and 3-1 to win the game on penalties.

“We are looking forward to it,” Iheanacho speaking to LCFC TV (via Echoes of Liverpool).

“We played against them in the national cup and it was obviously a good game, but we lost.

“We hope to do better in the Premier League and get something out of the game.

“When you play a team like them, you know how they play, you know the players, and you also know how to hurt them, how to attack them. We know about how they play and hope we give them a game.

“We had a good performance at Anfield and we hope to repeat that at the King Power Stadium. Hopefully we will make it.”

Former Manchester City player Iheanacho has only three goals this term and has had to settle for a place on the bench due to the impressive form of both Jamie Vardy and Patson Daka.
