Karrion Kross recalls working with Jeff Hardy, reacting to Hardy’s theme song

Former WWE Superstar Karrion Kross (aka Killer Kross) says that working with Jeff Hardy has been a highlight of his career.
Kross took to Twitter this week after Hardy’s WWE release was revealed and responded to a tweet that included a video of Hardy coming out with his title song “No More Words” for the first time in several years, right ahead of their RAW game on July 19, fans commented that they’d love to hear what Kross was feeling at the time.
Kross responded with nothing but positive words about Hardy.
“This may come as a surprise to a lot of people, but to be honest – working with Jeff has been a highlight of my career for me. Growing up buying all his shirts, loving him like a human. Also had a lot of fun home performances with him. He and I were hoping they would play that song when he asked for it back to the fans,” he wrote.
Another fan commented that they loved Kross’ reaction when Hardy appeared on the theme song “No More Words”.
“Me and Jeff didn’t know if they were going to play it or not. We are so glad they did. He wants it back for you guys,” replied Kross.
Interestingly, Kross said that Hardy didn’t know the theme song was played that night, which could indicate that WWE surprised him with it. Hardy revealed for the first time In September 2020, he re-signed with the company and part of the new deal was that WWE allowed him to use “No More Words” again, but it was saved to return to the crowd. Hardy was released from his WWE contract this week after refusing to receive help and rehab, following last week’s incident at a live event in Edinburg, TX. Kross was released back on Thursday, November 4, along with his fiancée Scarlett Bordeaux and other talents, attributed to budget cuts. While Scarlett became a free agent on Saturday, December 4 when her 30-day non-competition clause expires, Kross will not become a free agent until Wednesday, February 2 when 90 his WWE non-competition day expired. Kross was announced to return to the ring Saturday, February 5 at the WrestlePro Killer Instinct event in Rahway, NJ, against Flip Gordon. That event will also feature Scarlett’s return to the ring as she faces Harley Cameron in her first wrestling match. Cameron is the fiancée of WWE NXT Superstar Xyon Quinn.
