Kamal Eljamal, wanted for shooting of woman dumped in Bankstown Hospital, found in roof cave

A man wanted for the shooting death of a woman who was dumped in a Sydney hospital has allegedly been hidden in an attic void.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Kamal Eljamal, 33, after a 37-year-old woman was allegedly shot in the stomach on January 12 in the Bankstown area.

CCTV footage shows a man driving to the emergency room at Bankstown Hospital in a Mercedes-Benz, with staff coming to the woman’s aid while the man flees the area on foot.
The woman suffered what is believed to be a severed spine and damage to her internal organs and remains hospitalized.
Eljamal’s picture was released by police on Thursday.
Late Friday, police were searching a house on Doris Street in Picnic Point when they found Eljamal allegedly hiding in the attic cave.
He was charged with firing an unregistered handgun, causing grievous bodily harm and possessing a registered firearm.
He is scheduled to appear at Parramatta Bail Court on Saturday.
