Kaley Cuoco didn’t think about motherhood until she met Tom

Love changed most things for Kaley Cuoco, most notably her desire to be a mom!
Like any other career-oriented woman, the Flight Attendant star has always had her career in mind and didn’t want a child.
But her desire for a child blossomed in an unexpected romantic turn of events. That desire grew when she fell in love with her partner, Tom Pelphrey. Read on to find out more.
Kaley Cuoco says she had no plans to have a baby
While he appeared on the cover story of Emmy MagazineThe ‘The Big Bang Theory’ star revealed details about her new show Based On A True Stroy, her love life and the life of her new mom.

She revealed that “having a baby” wasn’t among her plans. However, her plans changed last year when she met her partner at a party for Netflix’s Ozark. The duo got the ball rolling and within months, daughter Matilda was born.
Recalling her decisions about motherhood, the actress said: “That wasn’t my goal. As a young girl I dreamed of it, but I made a career of it. Then, when we met, it was like, “Oh my god, I want to have a kid with you.”
The 37-year-old actress shared how her life choices changed: “We both wanted it so badly, which wasn’t what I wanted my life to be.” I love my job and I want to move on with my life. But Tom came and something changed.”
She continued, “We’re not even 20 yet, so we felt like we probably couldn’t wait too long. Then we were so blessed – it happened instantly.”
With Cuoco’s growing belly, she knew she had to tell the show’s producer, so she hatched a plan — she did an excellent job of reshaping her character. “I am like, “What if this character was pregnant?” And they’re like, “Um…” And I’m like, “Think about it carefully, because maybe it’s an excellent idea — and it might be the only option.”
Though the character’s role didn’t change, Matilda became part of the series and starred in it while she was in the belly. “The great thing is that you didn’t have to write it because you can see it. You don’t have to talk about the baby as it is physically present in every scene. It’s right in your face, so to speak.”

Cuoco further explained that Matilda was born for the big screen. “It’s in their genes; I don’t know how she can’t do that,” Cuoco noted. “The kid already thinks he’s the star of everything,” the new mom pointed out, before recalling a scene where her baby kicked in the stomach, which scared actress Ever Carradine.
Before the interview, the Emmy-nominated actress posted Pictures from the film showing her baby bump. Photo shows a scene showing Cuoco and her co-star in an elevator. She wrote, “Matilda’s first starring role LOL.”
Tom Pelphrey gushed about how good motherhood looks for his partner
Even though Cuoco, the new mom, didn’t have motherhood in her plans, her new role as a mother is already ruining her. Her partner Pelphrey previously gushed about being a cool mom.
He said, “Oh god, it’s so cool. She’s so good at it, you know. It’s all the qualities I love about Kaylee, and up to 100. She’s so funny, and she’s so caring and easygoing and playful and loving. I mean, so loving, you know, it’s beautiful.”
The Charmed actress has even taken to social media to show that she’s enjoying her motherhood. Days after giving birth to her baby, she posted sweet pictures of her newborn on her Instagram Stories.
The photo dump began with a snap of the newborn girl staring wide-eyed at the camera while the mother bobbed her head. Another picture showed the infant sleeping on the “Banshee” actor’s chest at home.

The father-daughter duo appeared to be doing well, and alongside the photo, the doting mum also tagged her baby as “Daddy’s girl.” In another picture, featuring only the mother-daughter duo, Cuoco cuddles her baby and smiles sweetly while sitting on a gray couch.
Cuoco also shared more sweet baby updates. She informed her fans when her daughter took the first bath. Proud mom Cuoco posted a photo of her baby holding her in her arms. Alongside the photo, the mother-of-one wrote: “When you get pretty naughty at the first official bath.”
