Chon has had a very successful career so far, with almost all of his films receiving very positive reviews. For that reason, it will be exciting to see what he brings visually to this series. Since Chon is an actor himself, this will likely strengthen the emotional bond between what’s on the page and the cast’s on-screen interpretation.

By all accounts, this appears to be a very personal project for Momoa given that he is writing the series and is of Hawaiian background. Now that this eight-episode limited series has its first director, we should soon be hearing more news about the series regarding the other directors, cast, and production start date. Until then, you can watch Momoa doing it See on Apple TV+, which was recently renewed for a third season.
