The Office of Public Information for the Supreme Court of the United States announced on Friday that Justice Clarence Thomas was discharged from the hospital. The update comes a week to a day after the conservative justice was first admitted to Sibley Memorial Hospital, though the court did not disclose the hospitalization until last Sunday.
Thomas, 73, is believed to be experiencing “flu-like symptoms” and has been diagnosed with an infection, a court spokesman announced over the weekend.
