Julianna Pena vs. Amanda Nunes Live Scores

UFC 277: Julianna Pena vs. Amanda Nunes Live Scores.
Seven and a half months after one of the biggest upsets in ufc Storyline, Julianna Pena and Amanda Nunes will clash again. This time it’s the other as the defending UFC women’s bantamweight champion. This time it’s champion against champion. And this time it’s the main event.
The much-anticipated title rematch headlines UFC277a card that will feature an interim flyweight title fight in addition to the aforementioned world title fight.
Pena made it through Nunes’ fierce pressure in their first fight at UFC 269 in December. Pena went toe-to-toe with Nunes before tiring her out and earning a submission win via rear naked choke in the second round.
The fight garnered many Upset of the Year awards in the MMA media. Included on fan side.
Pena has won three of her last four and also scored a submission over Sara McMann and a decision over Nicco Montano in the stretch dating back to UFC Sacramento on July 13, 2019 – a fight that marked her first after a two-and-a – six-month termination.
Meanwhile, it was Nunes’ first submission loss since losing her professional MMA debut to Ana Maria in March 2008. It was also Nunes’ first loss, both in finish and in general, since she was TKOed by Cat Zingano at UFC 178 in September 2014.
Nunes, of course, still enters this fight as the UFC Women’s Featherweight Champion, which she has fought since UFC 232 in December 2018. With a win, Nunes becomes the first UFC fighter in history to be a two-time champ and can only join a handful of fighters to regain a lost UFC title.
Also at stake is the interim flyweight championship as former champion Brandon Moreno will face Kai Kara-France in the co-main event of UFC 277.
Rumors of a possible fourth fight between Moreno and current champion Deiveson Figueiredo were shot down earlier this year due to Figueiredo’s hand injury. Instead, the winner of that game will challenge Figueiredo for undisputed gold.
Moreno and Kara-France previously met at UFC 245 in December 2019, with Moreno winning by unanimous decision. Moreno defeated Jussier Formiga and Brandon Royval ahead of his epic trilogy with Figueiredo. Kara-France has since won four out of five and is currently on a three-fight win streak.
