Johnny Gargano may have struggled at his last WarGames show but he’s still far from done with WWE NXT.
After the show aired, Gargano told fans he’d be “telling it all” this Tuesday night on NXT 2.0. This does not mean that he signed a new contract. In fact, his contract expires on December 3 but he has signed a one-week extension, meaning he will become a free agent on October 12.
If he doesn’t commit to staying, this could be WWE’s way of taking more water from him for Tuesday night’s ratings review. Also, Kyle O’Reilly is also likely to leave but before departing, he will face former teammate Von Wagner this Tuesday night.
In the end, neither O’Reilly nor Gargano have signed new contracts but WWE wants to keep both of them. If they don’t sign then there’s a good chance they’ll end up in AEW.
