According to recent reports from Unleashed Patreon’s Brad Shepard, the former multiple world champion will be returning to WWE very soon. While future plans are yet to be revealed, the report claims that the franchise player will be back in the ring in a few months and could be back for a month around SummerSlam 2022. Here’s what the report said:”

“I spoke to a source at WWE today and they told me that John Cena is expected back at the end of June this year. I don’t have a specific timeline or creative plan yet, but I do know he’ll show his face.” – Brad Shepard reported

John Cena made a shocking return to WWE after a blockbuster main event match between Roman Reigns and Edge at Money in the Bank 2021. Cena returned after the match concluded and was happy to be back, and before the WWE Universe, too.

Cena challenged Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at SummerSlam 2021 but failed to complete the job and failed to meet the goal of becoming Universal Champion. Not only did the franchise player lose the match, but he was decimated by the returning Brock Lesnar, who delivered a couple of F5s to Cena and shipped him back to Hollywood.
