Jimmy’s Famous Seafood to Join the Food Vendors at Camden Yards – CBS Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ) – Two Baltimore staples are joining forces to bring a new flavor to baseball.
Jimmy’s Famous Seafood on Wednesday announced a partnership with Orioles to bring its seafood classics to Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

“I grew up an Orioles fan and watched the games as a young boy from inside the restaurant,” said Jimmy’s co-owner Antonios Minadakis. “It was an emotional day I have always dreamed of – making sure our forefathers legacy will always be remembered. I know he’s smiling down.”
Jimmy’s will occupy a dedicated stand near season 72 starting April 11, the Orioles home-field opening series for its 30th anniversary season. Services will include Egg rolls with crab cakes, Shrimp rolls, Crab rice cakes, French fries and Mo Gaba’s Shrimp Plate.

The restaurant will donate $1 from every Mo Gaba Shrimp Plate sold to benefit the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center. This dish is dedicated to the Orioles Hall of Famer and fan of Mo Gaba, who died of cancer at the age of 14.
“Baltimore Orioles is excited to partner with Jimmy’s Famous Seafood, a Charming City staple in our community,” Orioles said in a statement. “Partnering to deliver Jimmy’s acclaimed dining experience and local seafood classics inside our iconic football field will be a great addition to the overall fan experience as we celebrate our 30th anniversary at Oriole Park in Camden Yards.”
