Jim Ross Trashes Current WWE Title, Calls It “Abominable”

Was he wrong to say that? There are many titles in the world of wrestling and some of them are quite unique. While there are standards, such as World Titles, Team Titles, and Women’s Titles, some championships are much more specific and may not be the most serious. WWE definitely has one and a longtime former employee doesn’t seem to think much of it.

In a recent version of His podcast JR Grilling, WWE legend and current AEW broadcaster Jim Ross spoke on Title 24/7. Ross compares the title to the Hardcore Title, which he describes as “another championship watered”. He also said that the 24/7 Title is “abhorrent” and that you cannot name all the champions in its history. The 24/7 title was introduced on May 20, 2019 and has had over one hundred and fifty reigning over fifty wrestlers.
