Responding to a tweet from his TV show’s official account, The Mayor of Kingstown, the actor wrote, “Out of my brain fog in recovery, I was very excited to watch episode 201 at home with my family.”

Season 2 of the show premiered in the United States on Sunday.

Renner even took to Instagram to promote the show, writing, “Are you excited for Mayor of Kingstown Season 2? This season is cooking.”

“I am so happy that you are promoting your new projects but please take the time to rest and fully recover,” wrote one fan.

“We are all excited to see this and everything you do, but YOU MUST FOCUS on YOU right now!

“Feel better!”

“Hope you’re starting to feel better. Thanks for keeping posting!” wrote another.

“Love episode 1 but more interested in who you are Jeremy,” said a third.

“I am praying for your speedy recovery and I hope you are feeling better, especially now that you are home.”

During his hospital stay, Renner underwent two surgeries and was treated in intensive care.

A 911 call log obtained by CNN says Renner was “completely crushed under a large snow cat” and had “extreme difficulty breathing.”

It continued: “The right side of his chest has collapsed – the upper body is crushed.”

Renner’s snow groomer, a motorized snow removal machine, began to roll away while Renner was not in the driver’s seat.

He posted a photo of himself looking bruised and battered in hospital a day after the accident.

“Thank you all for your kind words,” he wrote after learning of the worldwide support.

“I’m too confused to type now.

Renner’s mention of staying home and watching TV in his tweet gave fans hope he was on the road to recovery.

“You are a legend and such a huge inspiration,” wrote one follower.

“Keep pushing, stay strong, take it one day at a time.”

“Hope you’re doing well! Prayers for a speedy recovery Jeremy!” wrote another.

“Great show by the way.”
