Jeff Hardy released by WWE

Jeff Hardy has been released by WWE, as first reported by Fight. The company offered him help and rehab, but Hardy declined.

As previously reported, Hardy was sent home after Saturday’s WWE home show. Hardy worked most of Saturday’s games and got to work with Roman Reigns. Fans at the show reported that Hardy looked lethargic from the start and throughout the game. Hardy then disappeared into the crowd after doing a hotkey with Drew McIntyre. Jeff was replaced by Rey Mysterio at Sunday’s home show in Corpus Christi, TX.

Jeff hasn’t said anything publicly but according to Matt Hardy’s Twitch live stream, his brother has returned home.

Matt said the following on Monday’s House Hardy Twitch stream:

“I talked to Jeff a little bit today and he’s okay, he’s fine,” Matt said. “I think he will be fine but again, this is none of my business and if he wants to go into more detail he will do it himself. Jeff is fine. He’s at home and he’s okay. It’s not my thing. It’s not my story to tell or explain and also I won’t be able to do justice because it’s not from my perspective so I love my brother and I just want my brother to be settled and strong. I was also preoccupied with my business, which a lot of people don’t do these days. I’m preoccupied with my business. I make sure my house has to be in order before anything else because if my house is unordered I can’t get anything else in order. If I can’t keep my house organized and keep myself organized and checked, you won’t be able to get anyone else to order and check. “
